At Weber Optiks, our Doctors are continuing to provide a thorough exam with newer technologies. One of these technologies is a wide field image called an Optos which allows us to image an almost complete retina WITHOUT DILATION!!!! The Optos captures a picture, of about 82% of the retina, with a high-resolution photo. This image can also generate autofluorescence, which can allow doctors the ability to see cellular function. Here at Weber Optiks, we will be encouraging our patients to participate in this new technology, so that the doctors can continue to develop state-of-the-art care for our patients.
